The EDEN Project forms part of the historical ‘Guadalupe los Reyes’ Mining District near Cosala, in southeast Sinaloa State, Mexico, The Property sits just north of Prime Mining Corp’s Los Reyes gold-silver project (>1M oz Au Eqv.) and includes 2 adjoining mineral claims called El Eden and El Eden 1 which total 2,489 hectares. An application has also been made for an additional 2,430 hectare concession called El Eden 2.

The town of Cosala, designated as a ‘Pueblo Magico’, has an extensive mining history that dates back to the 1700’s. Its population is around 10,000. Cosala also has all the basic amenities and necessities needed to support an exploration program.

To date the EDEN Project is comprised of four known gold-silver mineralization systems hosted in N to N20∞E trending fracture-filling veins and breccias: the Buenavista, El Eden-Guadalupana, La Provedora and La Paloma veins. Old mine workings were found at four different locations along these vein structures.

Of the four mineralized systems, the ‘Buenavista’ prospect, because of its more extensive surface exposure, has received most of the exploration work completed by Centenario Gold Corp to date. Significantly high-grade gold-silver values were obtained from surface and underground sampling at Buenavista. The structural corridor hosting mineralization at EDEN has now been traced for more than 2.5 km along trend.

On March 24th, 2021, Durango Gold Corp S.A de C.V., a Mexican subsidiary of Centenario Gold Corp., signed an Option Agreement to acquire the mineral rights to the Eden and Eden 1 concessions located north of Prime Mining’s Los Reyes project near Cosala, state of Sinaloa, Mexico. The Los Reyes project’s northern claim boundary borders the Eden Property’s southern claim boundary.

The historical ‘Guadalupe de Los Reyes’ mining district has been mined intermittently since the 1700’s. More than 600,000 oz of gold is said to have been produced. In 2015 Prime Mining Corp acquired the Los Reyes project located just south of the EDEN Property. As of April 2020, they have defined a current measured and Indicated resource of over 1M oz of gold equivalent and an extensive drilling program is still underway.
